Tangdar, JUNE 28:(KNS) A meeting of members of District Development Council(DDC) was today held at Kupwara which was presided over by Chairman, DDC, Kupwara, Irfan Sultan Panditpori. The Vice Chairman, DDC, Haji Farooq Ahmad Mir was also present in the meeting

            The Assistant Commissioner, Panchayats and planning officials also attended the meeting, besides, other concerned.

          The meeting took threadbare discussions with regard to execution of development works being carried out in the district.

           The Chairman and Vice Chairman stressed upon the concerned officers to speed up the developmental tempo in the district and ensure that all ongoing and new works shall be completed with in the stipulated time. They also asked for speeding up of tendering process of new works so that construction of works could be taken up for execution well in time.

            Earlier, the DDC members highlighted development issues of their respective constituencies.  (KNS)
