Chadoora Fire Incident: Traffic advisory issued for pilgrims returning from Chaar-e-Sharief Urs

 
Srinagar, Oct 23 (KNS): A massive fire broke out in a shoping complex in Chadoora area of central Kashmir's Budgam district on Sunday evening, officials said here. 

Officials told Kashmir News Service (KNS), that the massive fire broke out in a shopping complex at Chadoora following which fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the fire. 

Meanwhile, Budgam police in a statement said that the fire broke out in a shopping complex at Chadoora market opposite Tehsil office around 17: 30 hrs. "05 tenders were rushed in and fire men along with police and magistrate on spot controlled the fire by 18: 45 hrs,  however fire engulfed some structures and 02 shops in the upper storey of the complex," it said, adding that no loss of life  noo injuries happened in the incident.

"Cause of fire is being ascertained. Locals and firemen are clearing debris and checking gutted portion and adjoining structures," the police said, adding that pilgrims who are returning from Chaar e Sharief Urs are requested to bear with traffic halt. Police is managing diversions of traffic.(KNS)
