Srinagar, Mar 29 (KNS): Spread over 15 acres, horticulture's Center of Excellence Zawoora has attracted a large number of visitors since it's opening and after Tulip garden and Badamwari, it is becoming new place of attraction. 
 
As per details available with Kashmir News Service (KNS), more than 20 thousand visitors have arrived at the centre to enjoy its beauty.
 
The visitors get amazed to see hundreds of flowers of Cherry trees, Plum trees, Peach, Apricot, Pear and Apple, which are spread over 312 kanals of land and are presenting an attractive ambience to lift up the soul of the people after dull winter.
 
The Center was thrown open on March 21 for the general public and will be closed on April 15.
 
Meanwhile, DG Horticulture Aijaz Ahmad Bhat said the motive behind the initiative is to give a ground experience to the farmers, students and other visitors about high density plantation. 
 
"We are inviting farmers, growers and students to visit the center to see the latest innovation of Horticulture Department. We have high density orchard, almost in every district and we want to farmers to visit these places to see the latest methods adopted by horticulture department for fruitful production. Our officers will felicitate the visitors," he said. (KNS)
