CCIK resent penalty by PFO

Srinagar, March 14:(KNS) Chamber of Commerce and Industry Kashmir (CCIK)  has expressed serious concern over the penalty charged by the  Provident Fund Organisation as late fee.
In a statement to Kashmir News Service (KNS)  CCIK said the traders and hoteliers  have been retaining the employees even during difficult times when tourism was at its lowest ebb and depositing the PF to the employees.
"However, the organisation has slapped huge penalty on the employers as late fee which is sheer injustice," said CCIK
It said the the employers are following all PFO guidlines but they couldn't deposit FO due to post Aug 19 lockdown and Covid 19 lockdown
The CCIK President Tariq Rashid Ghani the employers will deposit all PF but there should be no late fee charged.
He  appealed to the LG Administration to look into the matter so that hoteliers who provide employment to a large section of youth are not harassed.(KNS)
