Srinagar, Mar 15 (KNS): Chamber of Commerce and Industry Kashmir (CCIK) president along with traffic and police officials Tuesday toured Srinagar city to create awareness among shopkeepers and traders about parking rules.

According to a statement issued to the Kashmir News Service (KNS) CCIK president Tariq Ghani along with SSP traffic, SHO Kothibagh and other officials, visited city centre Lal Chowk, residency road, Maisuma, Badshah Chowk and Hari Singh High Street to review parking problems being faced by traders.

Ghani urged traders and shopkeepers to avail benefits of parking slots made for them and park their vehicles there for smooth flow of traffic.

“Customers will be also given time to park their vehicles so that people could complete their shopping and traders too won't get affected. Shopkeepers too should make customers aware to park their vehicles in well manner so that traffic would ply smoothly,” Ghani said. (KNS)
