CCIK hails Chief Secretary for road macadamisation

 
 
Srinagar, June 16: (KNS)Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industry Kashmir CCIK has hailed the direction of Chief Secretary, Dr Arun Kumar Mehta impressing upon the officers for road  macdemization to 20.6 kms  a day across Jammu and Kashmir. 

CCIK President Tariq Rashid Ghani said Govt program of pothole free roads is a welcome step as Kashmir is receiving huge tourist influx who need seamless journey to tourist resorts.

CCIK further hailed CS for widening of the roads and also bringing blacktopped road to unconnected villages.

The CCIK also welcomed the decision to decongest the Dal Lock bridge which has been a nightmare for the travellers.

Notably, CCIK had taken up the widening and blacktopping of roads with Chief Secretary.

"The commuters will feel sigh of relief while passing through this road particularly private car holders, taxi, mini bus, load carriers, auto rikhshas , trucks and other general transporters," CCIK members said.

CCIK further requested CS  for renewL of tourism registration of hotel guests houses at an earliest.(KNS)
