Srinagar, Dec 06 (KNS): Security forces on Tuesday said that it recovered a cache of ammunition at Churanda area of Uri Sector in north Kashmir Baramulla district.
The police officials said that in a joint op of Army and JKP, acting upon an input regarding presence of ammunition in village Churanda area of Uri Sector, parties of Army 16 SIKHLI and J&K Police today launched a CASO around the village.
Further, search operation led to the recovery of ammunition including 200 rounds of AK ammunition, Chinese Grenades- 8 No’s and IED material.
"A case under relevant sections has been registered in Police Station Uri and investigation set in motion," the police added.(KNS).
