Says people express their faith in Apni Party’s vision for J&K

Srinagar July 07 (KNS): The founder member of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the Valley, and its former general secretary Younis Ahmad Naik along with his works and supporters joined the Jammu Kashmir Apni Party on Thursday.

According to a press statement, Younis Naik from Asnoor area of Damhal Hanjipora in Kulgam district joined Apni Party in an event, which was organised at Apni Party’s headquarters in Srinagar. The Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari greeted the entrants.

The prominent party leaders who were present on the occasion include Provincial President Mohammad Ashraf Mir, State Secretary Muntazir Mohidin, Party's Chief Coordinator Abdul Majid Paddar, Media Advisor Farooq Andrabi, Senior Leader and DDC Chairman Srinagar Malik Aftab, District President Srinagar Noor Mohammad Sheikh, General Secretary ST Wing Khalid Bhadana, Fayaz Shah, Abdul Hameed Bakshi, and others.
 
On this occasion, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, while welcoming the new entrants into the party fold said, “I wholeheartedly welcome you all to the Apni party, and I also welcome you on behalf of all the party leaders and workers. It gives me immense pleasure to see the well-meaning people and senior political workers and activists join our hands, which will eventually strengthen our endeavour to work for the peace, prosperity, and development of J&K.”

 “I assure you that the Apni Party and its leadership will stand behind you like a rock when you are out there to serve the masses.” He added.

The Apni Party President further said, “Since you are now the part and parcel of the Apni Party, I would like to tell you that you ought to connect with the people at the grass-root level to ensure they are aware of the vision and the goals of the Apni Party. “Apni Party is determined to work for a sustained peace, durable prosperity and the development of Jammu and Kashmir; and the political and economic empowerment of its people,” Bukhari explained.(KNS)
