Baramulla, Jan 28 (KNS): Body of one of the drowned siblings was retrieved on Friday evening, while search for another one was still going on after two siblings drowned in river Jhelum near Khawaja Bagh area of Baramulla district.

An official told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that body of Hilal Ahmad Malla son of Manzoor Ahmad Malla was retrieved after hectic efforts by rescue teams. 

He said that search for deceased’s missing brother Naseer Ahmad Malla was still going on.

Notably, two siblings had drowned in Jhelum while extracting sand near Khawaja Bagh area today morning. (KNS)
