Blood donation camps being organized to ensure blood should it available for every needy: Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar

Srinagar, Sep 17 (KNS): Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar on Saturday said that the efforts are being made by setting up a blood donations camps to ensure that the blood should be available for each and every needy patient. 

The Advisor after inaugurating the blood donation camp at Shri Maharaja Hari Singh (SMHS) hospital Srinagar while speaking to media persons said that efforts are being made by setting up a blood donations camps under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to ensure that the blood should be available for each and every needy patient. 

He has further said that donating blood is equivalent to donating a life that's why everyone should donate blood. "The blood donation camps are being organized in other hospitals as well," he said. 

"Medical and health infrastructure is being enhanced in the Union Territory like, medical colleges have been opened and two AIMS hospitals are being opened besides two cancer Institutes are being constructed," he said, adding the government is working hard to provide medical facilities to the people(KNS)
