BJP wave dominating socio-political space in J&K: Yudhvir

JAMMU, MAR 26 (KNS) : Yudhvir Sethi, Vice President Bharatiya Janata Party Jammu and Kashmir has asserted that the socio-political space has been dominated by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) wave in the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory under the Prime Minister Narinder Modi led regime at the Centre for about eight years now.

The senior BJP leader expressed this after participating in the PM’s ‘Man Ki Baat’ programme organized at Booth No: 6, Village Pangali, Jagti of Jammu East constituency.

While addressing the gathering, Yudhvir Sethi said that during the BJP Govt at the centre the party cadre has been relentlessly working on ground right upto the grassroots level towards achieving the Prime Minister’s dream of ‘Naya Jammu and Kashmir’ and in consonance with the PM’s vision this Union Territory is undergoing a drastic transformation. He asserted that the people of this region are today witnessing this change on ground and in fact they are for the first time feeling the resonance of good governance post independence.

Yudhvir said that it is the BJP that dared to abrogate Articles 370 and 35A that were hurdles in the path of development of J&K and welfare of its people. He said that aforesaid abrogation has been a turning point in the history of J&K and has not only led to complete integration of J&K with the nation but has also addressed the woes of the sections including Pak refugees, the underprivileged like Valmikis, Gorkhas, etc who had been deprived of equal rights for over seven decades by the successive regimes in the erstwhile State of J&K.
The senior BJP leader asserted that people across the Union Territory including the Kashmir are fully satisfies with the BJP Governance led by PM Modi who has taken the nation to a prominent position at the global level besides crushing terrorism in J&K. It is the result of the aforesaid composite and calculated performance that BJP wave is dominating J&K and there should be no doubt about BJP’s extraordinary performance in the impending Assembly elections in J&K.
