Srinagar Nov 09 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Vice President Omar Abdullah on Wednesday was today felicitated by a group of Bharat Scouts and Guides who had called on him at the party headquarters Nawa-e-Subha, Srinagar.

Following the foundation day observance of the  Bharat Scouts and Guides (BSG), a troop of the scouts led by Scout's Master Muhammad Amin and its District President Imran Khan met JKNC VP Omar Abdullah and other party functionaries today. 

Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, Provincial Vice President Ahsan Pardesi, Deputy Political Secretary to VP Mudassar Shahmiri were also present on the occasion. 

The visiting scouts troop also presented scout scarves and badges to the party Vice President and other functionaries on the occasion. 

The Vice President appreciated the efforts of BSG India for their efforts in developing physical, intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual potentials of the young people in order to make them responsible citizens of the country and the world.(KNS)
