Srinagar January 25 (KNS): Congress leader Kadfeen Choudhary on Wednesday termed the Bharat Jodo yatra by Rahul Gandhi an impeccable effort towards rooting out communalism from the country and restoring the harmony and tolerance about which India is known in the entire globe.
Kadfeen in a statement said that the Bharat Jodo yatra is a bulwark against the swirling tides of the havoc being wrecked out by the miscreants mandated to fan the communal fires in the country.
He added that the trek has proven beyond doubt that India’s soul is craving for a harmonious, just and tolerant future in which all communities, languages, faiths and beliefs are inextricably linked to each other. He added that the manner in which Rahul Gandhi has walked past the entire India is proof that this leader has a mettle to take India towards the new horizons of prosperity and tranquil future. He will take us to the era wherein patriotism will be peoples’ faith, tolerant words will be the country’s language and respecting each other’s views and accommodating them for the greater common good will be peoples’ religion. That India, said Kadfeen will be the Vishwa Guru and that India will be the true interpretation of dreams of Shaheed Baghat Singh, Mahatma Gandhi, Subhash Chandra Bose and Pandit Nehru.
Kadfeen said the overwhelming response received by Bharat Jodo Yatra is a loud out slogan of people telling the divisive elements that enough is enough. The acceptability and generous welcome received by Rahul Gandhi at each and every region of the country shows us the stature of this great leader whose walking radiate hope amidst the prevalent dark times and every step he is taking is instilling in people the confidence to scan through the horizons.
