Bharat Darshan Tour: Group of students flagged off for tour in Bandipora

Bandipora August 06 (KNS):  In order to enhance the exposure of students and to promote cultural exchange, a group of students of Bandipora were flagged off for a week long Bharat Darshan Tour organized by Bandipora Police Baramulla under Civic Action Programme (CAP). All boarding and lodging facilities, to and fro air tickets including all other logistic facilities are being provided by the police.


The flagging off ceremony was held at DPL Bandipora which was attended by DySP Hqrs Bandipora Shri Mohmmad Shafat-JKPS & DySP DAR Bandipora Shri Ishfaq Alam. The students on Bharat Darshan Tour will visit different historical & tourist places in Mumbai, Delhi etc.

DySP Hqrs Bandipora while interacting with the touring students said that the tour is primarily aimed at providing opportunity to the youth of the district to understand the togetherness of India and it is an effort of J&K police to expose our youth to exciting tourist spots of the country, historical places and other famous workplaces, industrial units and IT sectors etc, adding that it would make them aware of Art and Culture, people and rich diversity of our country.

He also advised the touring students to imbibe in them greatness of the country and to take full advantage of the opportunity and collect memories for life during the tour, besides wished them a fun-filled, safe and life changing tour.(KNS)
