Srinagar, Jan 11 (KNS): This is to inform all our readers that there are several fake pages on social media platform Facebook being run in the name of our News Agency Kashmir News Service (KNS) and we request our readers not to pay any heed to the contents shared on those pages.

It may be noted here that KNS office has already intimated the civil and police administration and cyber police as well to take action the owners and creators of these fake pages being run in the name of KNS.

We reaffirm that if there is any malicious content or any untoward incident by these fake pages, KNS will not be responsible for the same, as we have no association with these fake pages.

Notably, KNS is running it officials pages one each on Facebook and Twitter and official WhatsApp group, where we share our content.

We once again appeal to the authorities to take action against the owners and creators of these fake pages.

KNS also appeals the general public and officials to contact our office at M-5 Govt. Quarters Magarmal Bagh, Srinagar in case some mischievous elements try to use our name for circulating fake news.
