Baramulla,04 May(KNS): Two militants have been killed in an ongoing encounter at Wanigam Kreeri area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday early morning.
Official sources told Kashmir News Service (KNS), that 2 militant has been killed in an ongoing encounter, however identity of the slain militants is yet to be ascertained.
Earlier Reports reaching KNS said that a joint team of Police and Army's 29RR launched a cordon and search operation in Wanigam payeen kreeri after following the inputs about the presence of Militants in the area.
However,As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering off a gunfight.
