Bandipora, 24 April (KNS): With an aim to recognise the good work being done by the panchayats and also to reinforce the faith of awaam in panchayats, a gathering was organised on the 12th National Panchayati Raj day for all Sarpanch and Panch by Bapura COB of Bandipora RR. 

A total of one DDC, two BDC, nine Sarpanchs and 22 Panchs were present for the event which commenced with flag hosting by the BDC and further the interaction with the elected representatives.

BDC gave a brief insight into the various developmental projects being undertaken and also gave a patient hearing to the problems of other representatives. He also reiterated the actions to be undertaken by all members to make the system more robust and foolproof.

The event was concluded with a group photograph as memory and all representatives expressed their gratitude for a healthy discussion on such an auspicious day.(KNS)
