Srinagar, Aug 24(KNS): The conditions of Bandipora Srinager road in North kashmir's Bandipora district speaks loads about official indifference as on social media, residents are trolling and shaming the government over the poor condition of road in the the district. 

Locals told Kashmir news service (KNS), that they were fed-up of the apathetic attitude of the authorities as the condition of Bandipora-Srinager road is going from bad to worse with each passing day. 

They said that the condition of road is dilapidated at several places including Ajas, Nasou, Papchan, Nadihal, Guroora, Suderkoot and other area  “We have been waiting for the repair of roads for several years, but nobody is taking an interest, " they added. 

It is ironic that despite promises, nothing has been done to improve the condition of Bandipora Srinager road,” Nazim Ahmad, a college student said, adding that particularly a 30 Kilometers road stretches from Sumbal to Bandipora is in deplorable condition while Government has not carried out any major repair work for several years. 

Bandipora Desk a twitter handler uploaded a funny picture on his Twitter account and wrote: "Till how long we and our road will remain fodder for social media memes. When is our Bandipora to srinagar road going to get macdimized..we have lost every hope. @manojsinha, ".

Similarly, another twitter user wrote: "Meanwhile main road of Bandipora is in shambles.You are only fixing the patches which makes road uncomfortable to drive on, ".

Futher another twitter user Rouf Wani posted on Twitter that "Doctors have advised pragnant ladies not to travel on Srinagar Bandipora road via Nusoo-papchan patch. How painful and disgusting, ". 

Javid Khan another local tweeted that why isn't there any magdamisation for bandipora Ahamshareef road..the road has literally became a river ..many accidents occurred due to potholes.. please magdamise this road ASAP.

The residents also appealed to the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha to personally look into the matter in order to redress their grievances(KNS).
