Srinagar April 12:(KNS) Several Congregational functions were held here on Tuesday to mark the 110 death anniversary of Ayatollah Mulla Hyder Ali Ansari across the Valley.
Srinagar, April 12:To mark the 110th death anniversary of Noted Shia Clerk Mulla Hyder Ali Ansari (RA) several congregational functions were held across the valley today in which a large number of mourners participated and paid tributes to the late Ayatullah Ansari. Ayatullah Mulla Hyder Ali (RA) was born in Khanqah-e-Sokhta Nawakadal in Shaher- e- Khaas. He passed away on 10th Ramadhan-ul-Mubarak 1333 AH and was laid to rest in the shrine of Grand Mulla Fazal Ali Ansari (RA) at Zadibal Srinagar.
The Jammu and Kashmir Shia Association also held various congregational functions across the valley and the main congregational function led by AJKSA General Secretary Molvi Abid Hussain Ansari, Dr Amjad Abass Ansari was organised at Babamazar today in which hundreds of shia mourners recited Marsiya Khawani and remembered the contributions of late Ayatullah. The AJKSA also held a Quran Khawani and Special prayers as part of the anniversary at the shrine of Grand Mulla Fazal Ali Ansari (RA) at Gulshan Zehra (Baba Mazar) Srinagar today.(KNS)
