Pulwama Augsut 13:(KNS) As part of the Independence Day 2020 celebrations, District Administration Pulwama in collaboration with District Youth Services and Sports Department and Education Department organized an award Distribution function at Mehjoor Memorial Govt. Boys Higher Secondary School Pulwama here today.

Deputy Commissioner Pulwama, Dr Raghav Langer, was the chief guest on the occasion who felicitated meritorious students of various fields for showing their exemplary performance in Academic and Co-curricular activities. He also distributed sports kits among various students.

Speaking on the occasion DC congratulated the meritorious students for their excellent performance in various fields. He said that education is the only tool to empower people in real sense in our society and hard work is the most important key to success. He advised students to work hard to achieve their goals in life as no achievement is possible without hard work.

Earlier, DDC distributed aids and appliances among children with special needs under Samagra Shiksha scheme.(KNS)
