Srinagar, 12th May (KNS): Jammu Kashmir Awami Itehad Party extended greetings to the entire Muslim Ummah on the auspicious occasion of Eid Ul Fitr. Party top brass prayed for peace and prosperity of entire Jammu and Kashmir; expressed hope that the auspicious occasion of Eid would strengthen bonds of communal harmony, brotherhood and bring with it much need peace and solace to Kashmiri society.

Extending Eid wishes Party General Secretary Parvez Ahmed Shah said, “the spirit behind observance of Eid-ul-Fitr, which marks end of the holy month of Ramadan, is to express our gratitude to the Almighty Allah for giving us strength to observe fasts and rededicate ourselves on the path of truthfulness, sincerity, patience and piety”.

He hoped this Eid brings along everlasting peace, happiness, and prosperity to the people of J&K. Awami Itehad Party leader urged people at large to generously help poor, needy, economically weaker sections of society.

In his felicitation message, AIP General Secretary requested everyone to celebrate Eid with austerity and observe sensitivity towards the sufferings of thousands of people who’ve lost their lives to Covid-19 and also those who would be celebrating this Eid in hospitals.  

Party senior Leaders Nazir Ahmed Moon, Ishtiyaq Qadri, Sheeban Ashai, Firdous Ahmed Baba, Zameer Ahmed and Muzzafar Dar also extended Eid greetings to the people on the occasion.(KNS)
