Awami Itehad Party and Jamaat Islami J&K forge alliance for Phase 1 J&K Assembly polls: Engineer Rashid
Srinagar, Sept 16 (KNS): In a significant development, the Awami Itehad Party (AIP) and Jamaat Islami Jammu and Kashmir have forged an alliance to support each other's candidates in the first phase of Assembly elections.
Accprding to KNS correspondent, Engineer Rashid, AIP chief announced the alliance, stating, "This is a fight for the rights of the people of J&K.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelWe have joined hands with Jamaat Islami J&K to ensure that our genuine leadership comes forward and fights for our rights."
The alliance is seen as a strategic move to consolidate votes and present a united front against traditional political parties.
The AIP and JeI will support each other's candidates in the first phase of the elections.
