Srinagar, Feb 9 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Disaster Management Authority Thursday issued avalanche warning in twelve districts for the next 24 hours.
According to an advisory, a medium level avalanche warning has been issued above 2000 to 2500 metres in Anantnag, Bandipora, Baramulla, Ganderbal, Kupwara, Kulgam, Doda, Kishtwar and Poonch districts.
It said low level avalanche may occur above 2000 to 2500 metres in Reasi, Rajouri and Ramban districts.
It also advised people living in these areas to take precautions and avoid venturing in the avalanche prone areas. (KNS)
