Bandipora, February 26:(KNS) Assistant Commissioner Development Mr Ab Rashid Dass (KAS) today visited Block Nowgam Bandipora where he reviewed the physical and financial progress of various RDD schemes in a meeting with the PRi's and other officials of the department.
The meeting was attended by DDC council Member Farwa Ibrahim, BDC chairperson, BDO Nowgam, AE, PRI's members including Sarpanchs & panchs and other officials of Block Nowgam.
ACD reviewed the status of various flagship programmes including Capex Budget (CD &Pyt Sector), Construction of DDC/BDC Offices, B2V works, MGNREGA, PMAY-G and 14th FC.
During the meeting, BDO briefed the ACD about the current status of various developmental works under execution approved under various schemes in the Block
While reviewing progress on MGNREGA , works, ACD directs all the field functionaries and BDO to Compete the ongoing works,as there is now no ceiling to generate the mandays for completion of ongoing works.
Similarly regarding construction of DDC/BDC Offices in the Block, the ACD asked the PRIs to identify the land and send the propsal in the office of undersigned for further process .
Regarding PMAY, the ACD directed the BDO and MIS concerned to make sure registration of eligible beneficiaries within two days. No more delays, excuses of any sort ll be taken into consideration.
Furthermore, speaking on the issues of staff shortage, ACD redressed the matter on spot, and assured them, proper rationalization of technical & non technical staff.. On demand of Full fledged BDO, the ACD assured them, that matter will be solved within couple of days, as matter has already been brought into the notice of Higher ups..
Speaking in the meeting, the ACD Directed the technical staff viz A. E/J.E , for billing of the competed projects within weeks time, and to compete the ongoing works before 15 th March 2022
ACD directed the BDO and other associated functionaries to conduct field visits in their respective areas for monitoring the quality and standard of ongoing works.
ACD Bandipora expressed his gratitude towards The PRIs of Block Nowgam, in helping and maintaining peace in the meeting..& lauds their efforts in developmental activities..
The meeting ended on positive Note, & officials and officers thanked ACD Bandipora for his visit in the area and onspot redressal of grievances. (KNS)
