Army's 13RR Organized free Medical Camp in Argam Village of Bandipora

Bandipora, Nov 22 ( (KNS):In a attempt to provide basic health facilities to the locals of Aragam village , Army's 13 RR Aragam camp organised free medical camp in chaanpal area of Aragam Bandipora.
Speaking about the common health issues faced by the villagers in that area, Captain Parrena Tiyagi said that people between the age group of 18 and 24 at the camp were suffering mostly from cold and fever. While the elderly people from the village consulted the army doctors regarding back and joint pains. 'Besides medical consultations and check-ups, medicines were also provided to the people free of cost,' She added.

Capt. Parrena Tiyagi said"Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the government has issued guidelines to wear masks and maintain social distancing. Winters are also approaching. The number of infections is expected to rise further." keeping in view all these factors this medical camp here will definitely help the locals to deal the threatening situation of covid.
locals laud Indian Army's efforts Appreciating the steps taken by the Indian Army to provide basic health facilities in far-flung areas, a village local, Mohd Aslam, stated that more such medical camps should be organized across the Union Territory on a regular basis. Another local who had come to visit the camp said that we are highly thankful to army who organised this medical camp in such a far flung area where we don't have enough medical facilities.
Talking to an officer there he said that announcement was made in the morning that a medical camp is being organised in the area and asked the people to come down to the camp if anyone is sick ,get check ups and medicine for free. (KNS)
