Srinagar, Oct 17 (KNS): Army’s 25 Punjab Unit of 161 Brigade organized a football championship in north Kashmir’s Boniyar tehsil of Uri.
According to Kashmir News Service (KNS), the aim of organizing tournament is to infuse a sense of camaraderie and celebrate the spirit of sportsmanship among youth.
“All matches of the championship are being played in Boniyar High School Ground which will continue till October 24. The enthusiastic and energetic teams of Boniyar tehsil will have to participate in the championship whose number is 10”, official said.
“The final match of the Championship is being played on October 24 where wining team will be suitably awarded”, official added.
The official told KNS that such efforts to engage youth into sports activities will remain in continue in future as well so that new generation will be provided best and suitable platform where they can show their talent and make their future bright. (KNS)
