Poonch, Nov 22 (KNS): An army soldier allegedly ended his life by committing suicide at a post along Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu.
Reports reaching to Kashmir News Service said an Army soldier of 39RR who was posted at Nambal post in village Salootri ended his life by suicide.
Officials identified him as Havaldar Rajender Singh.
Meanwhile a police officer also confirmed the death of an army soldier by suicide and said proceedings under section 174 CrPC at police station Poonch have been launched. (KNS)
