Srinagar, Feb 24 (KNS): An army soldier died after roof of shed collapsed due to snow inside Badami Bagh Cantonment area in the outskirts of Srinagar city on Thursday.
Official sources told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that the soldier was standing just besides the shed when its roof collapsed, leaving him injured.
They said that the injured was shifted to military hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Kashmir Valley on Wednesday received heavy snowfall, which disrupted air and surface traffic, while power supply was also snapped in the valley and at some places damage to property was also reported. (KNS)
