Pattan 08 March (KNS):In pursuance of Indian Army’s resolve to strike a chord with the local population and to celebrate women prowess on International women’s day 2022, khanpeth Army Camp of 29 Rashtriya Rifles organised a walkathon at khanpeth. 

 

The event witnessed overwhelming participation with around 120 girls from neighbouring villages taking part exuding zeal and enthusiasm. 

 

The event consisted of a walkathon of 2 kms wherein girls yielding placards and banners highlighting the importance of women empowerment marched from Gadakode till khanpeth.

 

The walkathon was led by Ms. Kamila Mushtaq, BDO Singhpora.(KNS)
