Srinagar, May 29 (KNS): Government Forces today recovered major haul of arms in Kupwara forests.

A top police official told KNS that the armies were meant for further supplying to millitants in Kashmir.

 

"Kupwara Police & Army in an ops at the fowrad Jabdi Tangdhar Sector Kupwara today thwarted an attempt by #militants to #smuggle weapons. 03 AK-47 rifles & 06 magazines and 04 pistols & 9 magazines have been recovered from the spot. Search in the area is going on," a statement issued to KNS reads.

 

Meanwhile IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar speaking to KNS called it one of the major success in anti-militancy operations. (KNS)
