Srinagar May 25 (KNS): Peoples Democratic Party leader Arif Laigaroo has welcomed the release of their youth president PDP Waheed-u-Rehman Parra after about two years from jail.
“Finally truth prevailed,” Laigaroo and praised the decision of his release. “His release proved that democracy always wins.” He said his released will once again charge the political atmosphere in trouble torn valley.
Laigaroo said that Parra was detained flimsy charges and court has given justice.
The PDP leader laigaroo said that Government of India must understand that political voices that have been tapped after abrogation of 370 should be given a chance. “Only a through political process will help in erasing the piling up miseries of the people,” he said and expressed grave concern over the killings of policemen and civilians.(KNS)
