Srinagar, Dec 3 (KNS) : Apni Party leaders and senior workers—especially all eight ward presidents representing the Chanapora constituency— today gathered at the party headquarters in Sheikh Bagh, Srinagar, for an important meeting chaired by party president Altaf Bukhari.

According to a press release issued ,The meeting aimed to review the performance of the party cadre in the Chanapora constituency and and to deliberate on certain pressing public issues and internal party matters.

During the meeting, the ward presidents briefed the party president on the current political and social situation in the constituency and apprised him of several important public issues and internal party matters. Addressing the occasion, Altaf Bukhari urged the leaders to intensify public outreach in the constituency in order to identify public issues, so that these could be brought to the notice of the concerned authorities for prompt redressal.

He said, “As we know, during the harsh winter months people face a range of difficulties, and it is your responsibility to connect with them at the grassroots level, identify their problems, so that we can ensure that these issues are brought to the concerned officials for redressal.”

He urged the ward presidents to organise meetings with citizens in their respective areas.Altaf Bukhari also tasked the leaders and senior workers with launching a new membership drive in the constituency, giving them 30 days to meet the targets for enrolling new party members.(KNS)
