Srinagar, April 12 (KNS):  Apni Party Media Advisor Farooq Andrabi and District President Srinagar Noor Mohammad Sheikh on Monday jointly demanded that the administration must ensure that no inconvenience is faced by the people across J&K in the auspicious month of Ramadan.

In a joint statement issued to kashmir news service (KNS), the duo said that the month of Ramadan is very auspicious wherein people supplicate for their forgiveness and peace for the society at large.

“The Government must ensure that an amply drinking water and electric supply is maintained round the clock. Special market checking squads should be dispatched to curb the inflation rampant during this blessed month,” the leaders asserted.

They also said that all the imperative measures must be taken by the administration and concerned municipal committees to maintain hygiene and cleanness in the cities and villages alike.

“We also appeal to the Lt. Governor of J&K Shri Manoj Sinha to ascertain that an adequate supply of essential commodities is maintained and the people are not allowed to suffer due to a sporadic ration distribution during this sacred month,” the duo said.

Furthermore, the two leaders greeted the people on the occasion and prayed that the month of Ramadan brings much needed peace, prosperity and solidarity for the people of J&K in particular and to the whole country in general.(KNS)
