Speaking about the Apni Party, Rafi Ahmad Mir said, “This party was established in March 2020, at a time when the entire Jammu and Kashmir was in deep chaos, and people were apprehensive that the demography of Jammu and Kashmir could be changed, eventually leading to a loss of identity of the people. At that time, we decided to come forward to shoulder our responsibility to speak on behalf of the distressed people.”
