Aijaz Ahmed Khan chairs meet of Party workers in Reasi after Ramban

REASI, APRIL 11:(KNS)  Intensifying the political activities in Reasi and Ramban Districts, Apni Party Vice President and Former Minister Aijaz Ahmed Khan on Monday insisted on the decentralization of the powers to strengthen the party’s ground cadre.

 
Aijaz Ahmed Khan was speaking at a workers' meeting in the Reasi district office of Apni Party. He was accompanied by President, Women Wing J&K Apni Party; Namrta Sharma and other leaders of the party.
 
During the meeting various issues to strengthen the party were discussed and the leaders also put forth their suggestions which were appreciated by the Former Minister and he also asked them to increase their activities in a coordinated manner so that the agenda and policies of the party can reach every nook and corner of the two districts.
 
He also hinted at extending the political activities in Udhampur in coming days with a well planned manner utilizing the services of the District Unit of the mountainous district. He also hinted at giving a tough fight to BJP if the assembly elections are announced.
 
He said that the Apni Party has received unprecedented support from the people and it hopes of getting the support from other districts as well in absence of a meaningful political party.
 
“The people are fed-up with the BJP’s politics and hence, they see Apni Party as an option to it. Within a short time its foundation has gained popularity among the public and it is time for the party leaders and workers among the people,” he said.
 
He said that his party will support the marginalised section of society and encourage unity in two regions while exploring all possibilities of equitable development in all two regions without discrmination.
 
He asked the party leaders and workers to decentralize the powers and strengthen the people with the feeling that their works and commitments made by the party will be fulfilled as and when it comes to power.
 
“In past too, we have worked for the people. We have developed villages, remote areas, provided employment and have taken up various other works for the welfare of the people. In a similar manner, we will provide all necessary facilities to the people at their doorstep,” he said.
 
He said that “We will see how the electricity and water charges can be reduced to give a sign of relief to the people, especially poor people. Our motive is to give a welfare policy for the people in general.”
 
He also appreciated the role of Women Leaders in the Party and the role of Women Wing President Namrta Sharma for her presence and encougement to the party leaders and workers.
 
Meanwhile, District President Lok Jan Shakti Party, Choudhary Ashmat Ali among Manjit Singh of Khanikote, Sadam Hussain of Jij Baghli, Ahmed Din of Jij Baghli, Naseem Akhter of Serla and others joined the Apni Party.
 
Prominent among those who were present in the meeting included BDC Chairman Thuroo, Choudhary Makhana Chauhan, Women Wing Vice President Joyti Vaid, Provincial Secretary Women Wing, Koshaliya Rajput, District President Women Wing Sapna Devi, Block President Arnas Monika Sharma, Block President Jij Bagli, Fatima Choudhary, Block President Thuroo, Gurubachan Singh, Youth Wing Provincial Secretary Sarpanch Altaf Ahmed, Youth District President Kulwant Raj, Youth District Vice President Mohammed Rafi, Sarpanches Bal Krishan, Haji Mushtaq Ahmed, Farooq Ahmed, Saja Bano, Shahnaz Kousar, Naryan Singh, besides, Bodh Raj Menia, Bhawani Munna Thakur, Naresh Kumar, Davinder Singh, Subash Khajuria and others.
