Srinagar, Mar 10 (KNS): One more militant has been killed in an encounter that broke out between militants and security forces in Naina Batapora village of Pulwama district on Thursday, taking the toll to two police said here.
An official told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that encounter broke out in Naina Batapora village after joint teams of forces cordoned off the area following inputs about the presence of militants.
He said that earlier one militant was killed in the encounter, while operation was going on. "Now one more militant has been killed and both were affiliated with LeT militant outfit," he said.
The official said that searches were going on and incriminating material including arms and ammunition were recovered from the encounter site. (KNS)
