Anjuman-e-Shari'a Shian pays tribute to General Qasim Soleimani on his death anniversary

Srinagar, Jan 03 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Anjuman-e-Shari'a Shian Monday paid tributes to General Qasim Soleimani, the head of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Sipah-e-Quds, and other martyrs of Baghdad on their second anniversary.

According to a statement, issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), on the occasion of the second anniversary of the martyrdom of General Qasim Soleimani and Abu Mehdi Al-Mohandes, a Majlis-e-Tarheem was held at the headquarters of Anjuman-e-Shari'a Shian in which a significant number of organizational workers besides local people participated.

The statement reads that the Majlis-e-Tarheem was attended by a number of scholars who spoke on the life, services and achievements of Qasim Soleimani.

It reads that the speakers elaborated on the key role of Qasim Soleimani in thwarting the nefarious plans and aggressive intentions of anti-Islamic arrogant forces in the Middle East.

As per the statement, president of Anjuman-e-Shari'a Shian, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Musawi Al-Safwi paid homage to General Qasim Soleimani and termed his martyrdom as a great shock to the Islamic world.

He said that the valuable services and deeds of the martyr will always be remembered for the protection of the Islamic Revolution and the support of the oppressed in the region.

He further said that the great benevolence done by Qasim Soleimani to humanity by wiping out the notorious terrorist group ISIS in Syria and Iraq is unforgettable.

Other dignitaries who addressed the gathering included Syed Muhammad Hussain, Syed Muhammad Safvi and Agha Syed Mujtaba Abbas Al-Musawi. (KNS)
