Amit Shah commemorates Guru Tegh Bahadur on his 400th Prakash Parv

Srinagar, Apr 21 (KNS): The Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah on Thursday attended a program organized to commemorate the 400th Prakash Parv of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur in New Delhi.

 
According to a statement, Shah said that today he considers himself blessed in the celebration of 400th Prakash Parv of Guru Tegh Bahadur ji.
 
“There is no such person in the country who is not overwhelmed by the sacrifice of Guru Tegh Bahadur ji, everyone has a unique feeling towards him. The sacrifice of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur ji was due to the protection of Hinduism,” he said.
 
 
 
He added that when Kashmiri Pandits spoke about the atrocities on them in front of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur, they sacrificed their lives to protect Hinduism.
 
“Those who beheaded are lost in history, but even after 400 years, crores of people bow down to the sacrifice of Guru Tegh Bahadur.
Today I unquestionably believe that due to the sacrifice of Guru Tegh Bahadur ji and Guru Gobind Singh ji, the country is progressing so much, breathing freedom and celebrating 75th Independence Day.”
 
He said that they are all indebted to the great Sikh Gurus, the whole country is indebted to the great Sikh Gurus. “Not only India but the whole world, even after 400 years, with respect, reverence and devotion, bow down to his works, life and message.”
 
He said that Narendra Modi is the most fortunate Prime Minister of the country because it was during his tenure that the 550th Prakash Parv of Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj, 400th Prakash Parv of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji and 350th Prakash Parv of Guru Gobind Singh Ji got the opportunity and good luck Narendra Modi. 
 
“The Prime Minister, by celebrating these three Prakash Parvs with full devotion, not only in India but in the whole world, exposed the message of sacrifice, equality, valor of the great Sikh Gurus.”
 
He said that today it is a matter of great fortune for all of them that when this program is happening, then the country is celebrating 75th year of independence.
 
“In the 75th year today, sitting in the same Red Fort ground, we all listened to the voice of Guru Sahib, from where the fatwa was issued for the sacrifice of Guru Saheb. Guru Sahib's life is exemplary for all of us and is an inspiration to every child and youth for ages.”
 
He said that at the age of 13, in the historic circle of Kartarpur, with the valor with which he faced the Mughals, the eighth Guru Sahib gave him the name Tegh Bahadur.
 
“He mastered many languages ??like Sanskrit, Hindi, Gurmukhi and worked to spread the message of all the Gurus in all languages ??throughout the country. He put all the qualities of sacrifice, tolerance, dedication and knowledge in front of the country, he also founded the great Anandpur Sahib.”
 
Shah added that those who sacrificed their heads, even after 400 years, crores of people follow the path shown by them and remember their martyrdom.
 
lTomorrow in the 400th Prakash Parv, the Prime Minister will also release a commemorative coin and a postage stamp, a translation of the book of poetry on the life of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, a translation of the poem will also be presented, a prose book on the life of Guru Tegh Bahadur will also be released.”
 
He said that comic for children will also be launched in English, Hindi and Punjabi, three animation films and thirteen short films will also be launched tomorrow.
 
“Later it will be translated into every language of the country, so that the whole country will get inspiration from Guru Sahib's message and the children of the country will take inspiration in their lives.”
 
He added that a huge essay competition was organized by the Ministry of Education in which 18,00,000 children from about 85,000 schools wrote essays on the life of the ninth guru, describing his qualities.
 
“When 18,00,000 children write essays on Guru Tegh Bahadur ji in every corner of the country, then those children have also got the distinction of imbibing Guru ji's message and all the virtues in their lives.” (KNS)
