Srinagar March 20 (KNS): Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari extended his greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Nauroz and said this day symbolises the unique cultural heritage of the valley alongside strengthens the bonds of brotherhood and amity all across.

In a statement released to the press, Bukhari said that the name Nauroz means 'newday' and I hope this occasion leads to a harbinger of peace, brotherhood and prosperity in the region. I extend warm greetings to the people of entire Jammu and Kashmir especially to our Shia brethren

"I extend my heartfelt greetings to the people on the observance of Nauroz-e-Alam. I hope this day will bequeath the state with harmony, happiness and prosperity alongside adding to the cultural milieu of the valley for strengthening the bond of brotherhood ," he said. (KNS)
