Altaf Bukhari condoles the deaths of his acquaints

Srinagar, Jan 24 (KNS): Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Tuesday extended his condolences to the bereaved families of some of his acquaints who passed away in recent days.

In his message, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari said, “I am sad to know that some people with whom I was acquainted have passed away in recent days. Ghulam Mohammad Bhat from Srinagar’s Ram Bagh area has passed away. He was the father of Mohammad Hussain Bhat. Abdul Rahim Parry from Chak Rawalpora also passed away. He was the father of Bashir Ahmad Parry. I have been informed that the sister of Riyaz Ahmad from Astanpora Rawalpora has passed away after a brief spell of her illness. I extend my condolences to the bereaved families of all these departed souls and pray to Almighty Allah to rest the departed souls in eternal peace and give their kith and kin enough strength to bear the pain of their irreparable losses.”

He added, “Since life and death is in the hands of Almighty Allah, we Muslims are supposed to be always ready to bow our heads to His will. Islam has taught us that Allah has made this worldly life only to test our deeds and give us time to prepare ourselves for the hereafter where we would be having our eternal life. Thus, we must always be preparing selves for eternal life and we should be patient whenever someone close to us leaves this temporary world because we know ‘every soul shall have a taste of death’.

Meanwhile, a party delegation —consisting of the party’s State Convener Haji Parvez, District Vice President Ajaz Ahmad Rather, Constituency in charge Channapora Mohammad Ashraf Dar, Ward President Nazir Ahmad Dar, Provincial Youth Convener Shoaib Dar, and Zonal President Ajaz Ahmad Khan — visited the bereaved families to offer condolences and express solidarity with them in time of their profound grief.(KNS)
