Pattan, Feb 04 (KNS): Patient care has taken a hit at the trauma hospital in Pattan area of Baramulla district due to alleged unauthorised absence of doctors at the healthcare facility. 

Locals told Kashmir News Service (KNS) said that a huge number of patients were waiting for routine check ups at general OPD, but no doctor was available at the OPD. 

They said that due to non-availability of doctors at the hospital, patient care has taken a severe hit amid Covid-19 pandemic.

They also alleged that several doctors are not punctual and they fail to understand why action is not being taken against them. 

Meanwhile, when contacted, sub-divisional magistrate Pattan, Syed Fahim told KNS that they will look into the matter. (KNS)
