Srinagar, Dec 20 :(KNS) Additional Director General of Police(ADGP) Kashmir Vijay Kumar on Tuesday said that all the modules of militants involved in the civilian killings in the last three years have been neutralized and there is only left and that too will be neutralized soon.
About today's operation, the ADGP Kashmir while speaking to reporters here at Ganderbal said that three Lashkar-i-Toiba militants who were involved in killing of Kashmiri Pandit Purana Krishna and Till Bahadur Thapa of Nepal have been killed in Shopian encounter.
He said all modules of militants involved in the civilian killings in the last three years have been neutralized and there is only left and that too will be neutralized soon.
"Lateef Lone, one of the slain militants, was involved in the killing of Purana Krishna Bharat, a Kashmiri Pandit," he said, adding that another militant Umer Nazir was involved in the killing Bahadur Thapa of Nepal.
Earlier, a gunfight broke our between militants and security forces in Manj Marg area of Shopian.(KNS)
