AIP demands rehabilitation package for Noorbagh Fire victims

Baramulla June 11:(KNS)   Expressing sympathies with families affected by the unfortunate fire incident at Noorbagh, Baramulla incarcerated Er Abdul Rashid lead Jammu Kashmir Awami Itehad Party demanded from LG administration to forthwith come up with a comprehensive rehabilitaion package for the affected. A massive fire broke out in Noorbagh area late Thursday night, about fifteen houses caught fire reportedly due to LPG gas leakage. Expressing sympathies with the grief stricken families party leadership impressed upon present dispensation to immediately ascertain damages caused; provide necessary essentials and chalk out a long term rehabilitation program for the fire victims. Nearly thirty families have been rendered homeless, we urge the present day Government to expeditiously provide succour to those affected said Party Spokesperson Sheeban Ashai. Even though there is no loss of life but scores of people have been injured and families have been practically rendered homeless. Party top brass expressing anguish and sorrow over immense loss of property and damages caused by the ill-fated fire incident extended sympathies; expressed solidarity with the people of Noorbagh Baramulla. Party leadership demanded that those affected be immediately provided emergency assistance; be recompensed for losses suffered due to the nocturnal fire incident. People were already suffering financially and otherwise due to Covid-19, it becomes all the very more important for present day Government to dynamically address exigencies of Noorbagh fire affected families in a time bound manner. Senior party leaders Firdous Ahmed Baba, Muzaffar Dar, Mudassir Rasool, Aijaz Ahmed Lone, Rafeeq Ahmed Bhat also empathised with the affected families. (KNS)
