Srinagar,23 April (KNS): Jammu Kashmir Awami Itehad Party extends heartfelt condolences to the entire Muslim Ummah and the people of Jammu and Kashmir over the sad demise of renowned religious personality; Muazzin of Srinagar’s Jamia Masjid Moulvi Muhammad Yasin Shah Shb who passed away today morning after a brief illness.

Party General Secretary Parvez Shah expressed profound grief and sorrow over his demise, termed it a colossal loss for entire Kashmir as a person of such stature had left behind a void that was impossible to fill. Paying rich tributes to Late Moulvi Yasin Shb Party Spokesperson Sheeban Ashai condoled the demise of the veteran religious personality.

Ashai in a condolence message said, “ We are all extremely saddened; heartbroken over the sad demise of Moulvi Yasin Shb. I’ve personally had the good fortune to observe such greatness from close quarters, a man of supreme virtuosity, devout piety; prodigious stature”.

Ashai vividly remembered a particular incident when a couple of years back post fajr prayers at Jamia Masjid everyone was left mesmerised after Late Moulvi Shb started reciting morning Azkar.

He added, “those too were times of considerable political upheaval somehow finding myself surrounded by such great elders, gave me tremendous solace; much-needed consolation that maybe not all wasn’t lost in Kashmir”.

The entire party top brass including Senior Leaders Nazir Ahmed Moon, Firdous Ahmed Baba, Showkat Zargar, Muzzafar Dar, Ishtiyaq Ahmed Qadri extended heartfelt condolences and prayed for Jannat Ul Firdous for Moulvi Yasin Shb.(KNS)
