During his visit of the locality the Ahsan Pardesi enquired about the issues faced by the locals. The locals also apprised the visiting leaders about the plethora of issues concerning them including pesky power supply and unsteady water supply.
The duo made brief stopovers at various places in the locality and took stock of the ongoing development activities there. The locals told the visiting leaders that the people in the area have been pushed to wall. They said that their repeated pleas have fallen on deaf ears.

While Interacting with the people, Ahsan Pardesi said, "Interrupted democratic system, lack of accountability, corruption, and absence of rule of law have been major hurdles in the way of good governance and development across Kashmir, and significantly more in Srinagar. "Unemployment has been on a rise since the abrogation since 2015 according to the figures emanating from governments own agencies. Every sector be it Handicrafts, manufacturing, trade and commerce, development, and governance is crying for government's attention. Pesky power and water supply is causing severe hardships to the residents and traders. Almost every businessman, from a small shopkeeper to those who run industrial units, suffers enormously due to the erratic power supply. Administration is sitting on its hands and doing nothing to resolve the issue," he said.

In her Address sabiya Qadri laid emphasis on strengthening of party and urged locals to stand by the party as jnk was going through tough times and only National Conference can bring back the lost glory.
