Kupwara July 11:(KNS)   Army on Sunday conucted an event for students to held a debate on World populaton day at at Hajipir Army Goodwill School, Trehgam. 

Children Debate on Population Issues on World Population Day at Hajipir Army Goodwill School, Tregham 

In order to commemorate Swarmin Vijaya Varsh and raise awareness of global population issues among the young generation, a debate and a quiz competition was conducted at Hajipir Army Goodwill School, Trehgam. 

The  students of class VI - VII actively took part in the debate and quiz competition. The topic of debate competition was on effects of over-population .
All the participants were full of calibre and potential . Some of the issues debated and brought out made the audience and elders wonder about the facts. The best debater was Miss Mariya Feroz of class VIII, r/o Tregham and Best Quiz Team was from Class VI.

The competition came to an end with prize distribution by Mr Ishfaq of Kaafila Foundation, Cherakote,  Lolab. It was wonderful to see the school children to take part in the co-curricular activities post COVID and boosted the morale of young creative minds.(KNS)
