Aga Hassan Mosavi condemns acid attack on Srinagar girl 

Srinagar, Feb 04(KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Anjuman Sharie Shian President Aga Syed Hassan Mosavi Al-Safvi had strongly condemned the recent acid attack on girl and termed it as an attempt to scorch society, norms, values and culture.

According to a statement, issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), while delivering Friday sermon in Imam Bara Budgam, Aga Hassan hoped that the perpetrators of this crime are brought to justice and an example should be set by punishing them so that no one dares commit such crime again.

“It’s the worst example of violence against women and there is no place in Islam for any such actions,” reads the statement said. 

It reads that the Anjuman Sharie Shian stands with the victim and family in this hour of pain and all necessary steps will be taken to provide justice to her.

Aga Hassan, as per the statement said that the society needs to stand up against these heinous acts.

“No condemnation is strong enough. Attacks like this have no place in any civilised society. The punishment to the culprits will act as a deterrent for others,” he  added. (KNS)
