Says delimitation, SSR, appointment of ROs already complete

Srinagar, Jan 18 (KNS): The Chief Election Commissioner of India Rajiv Kumar on Wednesday said they were alive to their duty over holding assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir. 


Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, CEC Rajiv Kumar, as per Kashmir News Service (KNS) said taking the weather and security concerns into account they will decide about holding elections in J&K.

CEC was replying to query over holding of assembly elections in J&K during the presser where the commission announced election schedule for Tripura, Meghalaya and Nagaland.

He said delimitation and SSR is complete and appointment of Returning Officers is also complete.

Kumar said taking the weather and security concerns in mind they will and they they are alive to their duty over holding of elections in J&K. (KNS)
