Says after elections statehood to J&K will be restored

Srinagar, July 03 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday said that PM Modi and HM Amit Shah have made it clear even in the Parliament that elections will be held in Jammu and Kashmir.

Addressing a gather, LG Sinha said that delimitation process has been completed and now revision of electoral rolls is going on, following which elections will definitely be held in Jammu and Kashmir.

He said that it has been repeatedly said even on the floor of the parliament by that elections will be held in Jammu and Kashmir.

Sinha further said that PM Modi and HM Amit Shah have also said in the parliament that first there will be delimitation exercise, then elections, which will be followed by restoration of statehood to Jammu and Kashmir.

“Like ‘Sun rises in the East’ is a universal truth, same way whatever is said in the parliament is also truth and there should be no doubt in it,” he added. (KNS)
