Srinagar, May 25 (KNS): People’s Democratic Party’s youth president Waheed-ur-Rehman Parra was on Wednesday granted bail by Jammu and Kashmir High Court after almost two years.
Reports reaching Kashmir News Service (KNS) said that the high court ordered for his immediate release.
Meanwhile, PDP president Mehbooba Mufti in a Tweet said that after almost two years Waheed Para has been granted bail.
"Finally after almost two years, Waheed Para gets bail & I hope he walks out as a free man soon. Would like to thank his lawyer Shariq for fighting his case with such conviction & determination,” she Tweeted.
Parra was arrested by the NIA in connection with a terror case in 2020 and since then he was in judicial custody. (KNS)
